Hi! My name is Michelle Valenzuela and I always have our next trip planned! If you’ve seen the recent travel memes on social media, those fit me to a T.  My husband Vic and I, along with our two children, live in northeast Houston. We are both central Texas natives, but our jobs brought us here! Fortunately, living close to the airport, travel is very convenient for us! As a family, we love to travel and believe “experiences” are the best gift we can give each other.

Growing up, my parents were, and still are, always up for a trip. This has certainly passed down to me and I can see it in my teen daughter. Before the age of 18, I was introduced to all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, beautiful Hawaii, skiing in Colorado, many cruises making stops in the Caribbean, and of course the world of Disney! All on a budget – as my mom would say! In adulthood, I’ve continued to travel to all those places I loved as a child and began venturing to Europe where I found my favorite place in the world (so far!); Santorini, Greece.

I became a Castles and Cruises Travel Agent because, as a former high school yearbook adviser, I have always been called The Planner by my circle of family and friends, with travel being where I find planning so fulfilling! I enjoy spending countless hours researching every aspect of a trip, whether it is a staycation or miles away in another country. Because of this passion, I want to help others plan those trips for family or friends, making lasting memories. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you knock those travel locations off your bucket list!
